The hotel was lovely and spotless with excellent wi-fi. Plenty of food at the breakfast, including coffee, toast and jam. Location is a short walk to the main city center as well as the Art House Project and several local restaurants. The peaceful nature comes from being away from the main roads.

I had such a lovely time staying at Bamboo Village Guest House. The location was perfect, nestled near the port and art installations. The common area was beautifully decorated with whimsical art objects, and I enjoyed the nice view of the town. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay exceptional. They even offered me a private room for no extra fee and it was a very cozy and social space with a table and sofa. The hot carpet in the room was a pleasant surprise! I also appreciated the effort the staff put into reaching out to me and helping me with my travel plans. I had a calming and inspiring experience in this tranquil atmosphere. I met other like-minded travelers and enjoyed the company. Despite a steep walk up to the guest house and some basic breakfast options, I believe this place offers great value. The staff's hospitality and the beautiful surroundings make it worth it. I would highly recommend Bamboo Village Guest House for a serene and enjoyable stay.

The guesthouse is conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants, cafes, and art attractions. The staff is kind and helpful, going above and beyond to assist with any queries or concerns. The interiors are clean and well-maintained, and the decorations add a nice touch to the cozy atmosphere. the complimentary breakfast of bread and jam was a pleasant surprise.
The bed curtains were quite see-through, compromising privacy between adjacent beds. the price for the dormitory room was a bit high, especially considering that it was during peak season.

Our stay at Bamboo Village Guest House was a fantastic surprise. The view from the living room was breathtaking, allowing us to see the sea right from the comfort of our room. The host was also very friendly and accommodating. We particularly loved the cozy and calm atmosphere of the place, with beautiful artworks displayed throughout the house. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with great amenities. Despite a few minor drawbacks such as the limited breakfast options and the location being a bit away from the main action, our overall experience was excellent. We highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

I stayed at a cozy guest house on top of a hill, overlooking the Honmura area. The location was perfect, as it was close to the art installations and museums. The room was comfortable with a separate shower and toilet. The staff was friendly and helpful, guiding me through my itinerary and making reservations for nearby restaurants. The communal area had a relaxing vibe, with various art pieces on display. It was a great experience being on the island for a night.
The guest house was a bit secluded, making it difficult to find initially.

Stayed in the middle of nowhere, nothing to do nearby but enjoyed the peacefulness. The staff were lovely and attentive, always there when I needed something.
The lack of Wi-Fi and nearby amenities made it a great opportunity to experience digital detox and practice my survival skills.
